📍 We were, together with agricultural, agri-food and institutional stakeholders at the "Rencontres des produits de Montagne" , with a shared aim: to give fresh momentum to the promotion of mountain products in France. Organised by Association ALTITUDE, the event was held as part of the relaunch of the Mountain Product logo in France as a collective and structuring tool for mountain value chains ⛰️ Some key insights: 1️⃣ Mountain products clearly benefit from a positive image, showed the results of a consumer study run and presented by our member CNIEL. Yet, more public supports are needed to enhance the value of mountain dairy production. 2️⃣ Romania was highlighted by the Agenția Națională a Zonei Montane as a good example of uptake of the optional 'Mountain Product' quality term.
