Mastère en ligne Développement durable de la montagne: Bourse disponible

Une bourse couvrant les coûts de participation au Mastère Développement durable de la montagne proposé par l’Université des Highlands & Islands, Ecosse, est disponible pour un étudiant à partir de September 2014. Le Mastère est une activité de la chaire de développement durable de la montagne de l’UNESCO. Les candidatures sont à déposer avant le 10 avril 2014.

The scholarship will pay all fees for a student to complete the MSc. It is available to candidates who have been resident for at least three years in any European country (EU/EEA). The successful candidate will be responsible for paying all other costs (books, travel to induction and field course if attended, etc.). The scholarship has been made possible by the generosity of Lt. Col. John Moncrieff, a keen mountaineer who passed away recently.

Candidates for the scholarship should apply for the course in the normal way, using the form at http://www.perth.uhi.ac.uk/apply/Pages/default.aspx and also completing the scholarship application form at http://www.perth.uhi.ac.uk/support/scholarships/Pages/default.aspx . They should send these not only to pc.admissions@perth.uhi.ac.uk but also to info.cms@perth.uhi.ac.uk. The deadline for applications for the scholarship is 10 April 2014. Short-listed applicants will be interviewed by phone in April/May 2014.

The successful candidate will have to commit to take at least two modules a year (September to December and late January to May) for three years and to undertake a dissertation in the fourth year. If the successful candidate does not have a previous degree from an English-speaking university, they will have to prove competence in English (please see http://www.uhi.ac.uk/en/studying-at-uhi/international/how-to-apply-to-uhi/english-language-requirements ).
