Euromontana accueille un nouveau membre: SODEBUR

sodeburSODEBUR (Société pour le développement de la province de Burgos en Espagne) est officiellement devenu un nouveau membre d’Euromontana. Elle travaille à promouvoir le développement social et économique dans les zones rurales de cette province espagnole. SODEBUR est une société publique financée à 100% par le gouvernement provincial.

Il y a deux principales chaînes de montagnes au sein de la province de Burgos: la Cordillère cantabrique dans le Nord-Est de la province et la Cordillère ibérique dans le Sud-Est de Burgos. Le plus haut sommet de la province de Burgos est San Millán à 2130 mètres de haut.

SODEBUR est structurée en quatre domaines: les investissements et l’ingénierie industrielle, la promotion économique et sociale, la coopération institutionnelle et l’image et le tourisme.

  • Investissements et ingénierie industrielle. Ce département soutient le gouvernement provincial et toutes ses municipalités dans le développement de ses installations et des projets industriels.
  • Promotion économique et sociale. pour la planification stratégique et le développement de l’économie et des activités sociales dans la province.
  • Coopération institutionnelle prépare des propositions pour obtenir un financement au niveau régional, national et européen avec la participation et la collaboration des autres agents et des entités locales.
  • L’image et le tourisme. Ce département est en charge de la promotion touristique des régions rurales de la province de Burgos, avec le soutien des plus importantes parties prenantes du territoire.

Pour ces raisons, les intérêts de SODEBUR sont en relation l’amélioration de la qualité de vie de ses citoyens à travers la promotion de l’esprit d’entreprise, la mise en avant du patrimoine culturel et naturel de la province et la promotion touristique, la participation des femmes rurales dans la vie économique des municipalités, l’innovation pour les PME rurales, l’amélioration de l’accès aux TIC….

Euromontana a déjà travaillé avec SODEBUR dans le cadre du projet Move On Green sur le transport durable des zones rurales et de montagne.

Euromontana was pleased to take part as an observer in the 16th Meeting of the Carpathian Convention Implementation Committee in Belgrade on 2–3 December.
