Lancement de RUSTIK : aider les acteurs des communautés rurales et aux décideurs politiques de concevoir des stratégies pour des zones rurales résilientes

Les 4 et 5 octobre 2022, Euromontana a participé à la réunion de lancement du projet RUSTIK d’Horizon Europe à Francfort (Allemagne). RUSTIK est un projet de recherche transdisciplinaire de quatre ans qui vise à permettre aux acteurs des communautés rurales et aux décideurs politiques de concevoir de meilleures stratégies, initiatives et politiques pour favoriser les transitions durables dans les zones rurales. Il s’agit de l’un des deux projets (avec GRANULAR) sélectionnés pour soutenir la mise en œuvre de la Vision à Long Terme pour les Zones Rurales en améliorant la compréhension des moteurs de changements environnementaux, socio-économiques, comportementaux, culturels et démographiques dans les zones rurales.

Simone Sterly (Institut Fuer Laendliche Strukturforschung Ev), coordinatrice du projet, a souligné que « les défis sociétaux et écologiques croissants auxquels l’Europe est confrontée sont des moteurs pour soutenir une meilleure élaboration des politiques rurales et des zones rurales plus résilientes ».

RUSTIK implique des acteurs de 10 pays européens qui accueilleront 14 régions pilotes où le projet étudiera les différentes fonctionnalités et caractéristiques des espaces ruraux ainsi que les opportunités et défis (futurs) des zones rurales.

RUSTIK s’efforcera également de fournir :

  • un cadre méthodologique solide pour les zones rurales fonctionnelles,
  • des bases de données intégrant des données de différents types et sources,
  • des stratégies et des approches de gouvernance améliorées pour les décideurs et les acteurs ruraux, et
  • des approches améliorées pour les études d’impact sur les espaces ruraux et un test rural (rural proofing) décentralisé.

Au cours de la réunion de lancement, les partenaires du projet ont eu l’occasion de se connaître, d’échanger et de créer un climat de confiance. L’équipe de coordination a organisé des moments interactifs pour créer une compréhension commune des objectifs et des résultats du projet, ainsi que pour convenir d’un plan de travail commun pour les Groupes de Travail et les différentes tâches.

Euromontana dirigera les activités de dissémination du projet et contribuera aux tâches dédiées à la reprise des résultats par les politiques.
