Le transport durable est crucial dans les zones rurales !

Le département des affaires européennes du gouvernement provincial de Teruel (GPT) a participé à une visite d’étude en Espagne organisé par Sodebur, un autre membre du projet Move on Green. Au cours de cette visite, le GPT en a appris plus sur les différentes bonnes pratiques en matière de mobilité durable dans les zones rurales, telles que :
– L’auto-partage organisé par une association de quartier,
– La coordination entre les départements des transports et de l’éducation du gouvernement des Asturies afin d’utiliser les autobus scolaires non seulement pour les étudiants mais aussi pour le public de manière générale, en dehors des heures normales de classe
– Une société de location de vélo de montagne électrique
– Et un taxi électrique qui est rechargé grâce à une installation solaire.

Le vice-président du GPT a souligné que le transport durable est crucial pour les zones rurales, en tant que solution « qui permet de concilier l’accès à l’éducation, à la santé, à l’emploi et aux loisirs des citoyens dans ces régions dans une logique de développement durable ». Pour améliorer sa propre situation à Teruel, le GPT a accordé une subvention pour acheter un van dans un village pour aider quatre étudiants à se rendre de leur domicile à leur école et ce bus est conduit par un fonctionnaire local. Grâce à cette initiative, cinq familles sont restées vivre et travailler dans la zone rurale de Mezquita de Jarque.
