Les citoyens de montagne racontent leur histoire dans 17 vidéos

La politique de cohésion stipule qu' »une attention particulière [sera accordée] aux régions de montagne ». Comment cela se traduit-il dans la pratique et affecte-t-il la vie des citoyens de montagne ? Montana174 publie 17 témoignages vidéo où des citoyens de montagne racontent leur histoire avec la politique de cohésion.

Depuis 2010, l’Union européenne reconnaît « une attention particulière aux régions de montagne » à travers l’article 174 du Traité sur le fonctionnement de l’Union européenne. Plus de 10 ans après, le projet Montana174 a enregistré les histoires d’une vingtaine d’habitants de la montagne et les a publiées dans une collection de vidéos intitulée « Cohesion stories« .

Quelles sont les histoires racontées par les citoyens des montagnes ?

Dans ces courtes vidéos, des citoyens de montagne racontent comment les fonds de la politique de cohésion 2014-2020 ont changé leur vie dans les territoires montagneux. Les histoires locales couvrent plusieurs sujets, depuis l’aide à la création d’entreprises dirigées par des jeunes, comme l’histoire de Bikle Europe et Plankton Media dans les Alpes, en passant par la création d’un bâtiment multiservice par des habitants de la montagne dans la municipalité de Lutowiska (Pologne), jusqu’aux en Croatie. Toutes les vidéos vont au cœur de ce que la politique de cohésion a permis de réaliser dans la vie quotidienne des citoyens des montagnes d’Europe, des plus jeunes aux plus âgés.

D’où viennent ces témoignages ?

Tous les témoignages proviennent d’habitants de zones de montagne et donnent quelques exemples de ce que la politique de cohésion 2014-2020 a permis de réaliser dans les montagnes d’Aragon (Espagne), dans l’arc alpin de la région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (France), dans la région Lombardie (Italie), en Slovénie et en Croatie, et dans la région polonaise des Podkarpackie.

Une invitation pour l’avenir

« Pourquoi ne pas embellir cette région avec les fonds de cohésion de la communauté européenne ? » demande Natalino Luchelli, du Club alpin italien d’Oltrepo’ Pavese, « Notre paysage, notre nature et notre environnement sont de toute beauté ». Le sien, c’est une invitation à continuer à utiliser les opportunités offertes par la politique de cohésion dans les années à venir pour soutenir l’unicité des zones de montagne sur son territoire et dans toute l’Europe.
