Pour les jeunes qui n’ont pas accès à une voiture privée dans les zones rurales et de montagnes, il est très difficile de sortir le week-end. Avant la mise en place du «discobus», les parents soit s’inquiétaient pour la sécurité de leurs enfants (le conducteur qui doit ramener les enfants à la maison est-il vraiment sobre ?), soit ils devaient aller les chercher au milieu de la nuit à la sortie des boites de nuit.

L’objectif de cette initiative est de permettre aux jeunes de voyager pour un coût réduit (coût d’un ticket : 2€) dans un environnement sécuritaire pendant les week-ends.
Le discobus a un accord avec 118 villages ou communautés dans le Burgenland. Ces bus ont traditionnellement deux horaires tôt dans la soirée (entre 20h et 22h) et deux ou trois horaires entre minuit et 4 ou 5h du matin.

Un bon moyen pour que les jeunes s’amusent le week-end et rentrent à la maison d’une manière sure!

Today, Euromontana had the pleasure to take part in the journalist training course “Transizione ecologica nelle aree montane: biodiversità, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo sostenibile”, organised by Università della Montagna with the Ordine dei Giornalisti della Lombardia (the Lombardy Association of Journalists 📰)The course, bringing together 65+ participants, focused on how to better understand and report on ecological transition in mountain areas, from biodiversity and climate change to sustainable development ⛰️👉This matters because the way mountain areas are reported shapes the way they are understood and, ultimately, the way they are governed!We were pleased to join our member UNIMONT in this exchange. Prof. Anna Giorgi highlighted the need to change the way mountain areas are perceived, beyond fragility and marginality. Stefano Sala then showed how issues such as depopulation, winter tourism, climate change and public policy require a more nuanced reading of mountain realities 🔍 For Euromontana, Guillaume Corradino brought a European perspective to the discussion.
