Cozzano : un Village durablement Intelligent

Cozzano est une commune de 270 habitants, située dans la haute vallée du Taravo en Corse du Sud. Le village a entamé sa transition énergétique il y a 20 ans en investissant dans la production durable. A travers le concept de Village Intelligent, les autorités locales souhaitent mettre les technologies numériques au service de la durabilité énergétique pour accélérer la transition du village.

L’objectif de Cozzano est de devenir un village à énergie positive, en produisant deux fois plus d’énergie (durable) qu’il n’en consomme. Désireuse de poursuivre ses efforts en matière de développement durable, la commune de Cozzano s’est impliquée dans le projet Smart Paesi – littéralement Village Intelligent en anglais et corse. Grâce au socle d’énergies durables déjà présent, ce projet local vise à accélérer la transition de Cozzano à l’aide des outils numériques. En utilisant des objets connectés et la collecte de données environnementales, les partenaires de Smart Paesi souhaitent accroître la résilience climatique et énergétique du village.

Le village de Cozzano est un exemple de politique intégrée du développement durable et de gestion des ressources à l’échelle locale. La commune a réussi à développer des énergies vertes tirant partie des ressources naturelles du village et à associer les habitants et divers acteurs locaux dans une démarche durable. Certains outils numériques développés par Smart Paesi sont particulièrement pertinent pour la résilience des forêts et de l’agriculture en montagne.
