Coopération entérinée entre Euromontana et la Convention des Carpates

Euromontana se réjouit d’avoir approuvé en décembre 2020 un protocole d’accord avec la Convention des Carpates. Euromontana et la Convention des Carpates collaboreront davantage à l’avenir pour échanger des connaissances et de l’expertise sur les questions liées à l’agriculture et au développement rural.

Euromontana est convaincu que la coopération entre toutes les montagnes européennes est cruciale pour parvenir à un développement durable et rendre les montagnes attrayantes en apprenant des autres et en découvrant des initiatives innovantes. Adrian-Radu Rey, Vice-Président d’Euromontana et Président de Romontana, a salué l’accord lors de la dernière réunion de la Conférence des Parties en novembre 2020. Il a expliqué que cet accord « nous donnera l’occasion de multiplier les échanges d’expériences réussies et de bonnes pratiques, mais aussi d’échanger des connaissances plus vastes et des experts et de développer des projets communs ». L’accord renforcera notre collaboration déjà fructueuse pour l’organisation de conférences et de séminaires ».

La Convention des Carpates est un traité sous-régional visant à favoriser le développement durable et la protection de la région des Carpates. Elle a été signée par sept États des Carpates (République tchèque, Hongrie, Pologne, Roumanie, Serbie, République slovaque et Ukraine) en 2003 et est entrée en vigueur en 2006. La Convention des Carpates est le seul mécanisme de gouvernance multi niveaux qui couvre l’ensemble de la région des Carpates. Elle vise à appliquer des politiques globales et à coopérer pour protéger et développer durablement la région montagneuse des Carpates.
