Bioéconomie: Comment construire des stratégies régionales efficaces?

Le 20 Mars 2015, ERRIN (Réseau des Regions Européennes pour la Recherche et l´Innovation) et ERIAFF (Regions Européennes pour l´Innovation dans l´Agriculture, l´Alimentation et la Foret) ont organisé l´événement “Accélérer la croissance économique et faciliter les investissements à travers la bioéconomie: Comment construire des stratégies régionales efficaces” en partenariat avec le Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) et l’European Bioeconomy Alliance.

L’événement vise à sensibiliser au potentiel de la bioéconomie dans la réalisation des objectifs régionaux, nationaux et européens de croissance et des emplois durables. Les organisateurs ont voulu souligner l´importance de la bioéconomie comme un nouvel outil régional pour organiser les économies régionales, permettant la production de plus avec moins et de limiter les impacts négatifs de l’environnement et en déplaçant l’Europe vers une société post-pétrole.

Les conclusions de l’événement seront intégrées dans un document de consensus, qui vise à soutenir la mise en œuvre de stratégies de bioéconomie régionales.

Today, Euromontana had the pleasure to take part in the journalist training course “Transizione ecologica nelle aree montane: biodiversità, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo sostenibile”, organised by Università della Montagna with the Ordine dei Giornalisti della Lombardia (the Lombardy Association of Journalists 📰)The course, bringing together 65+ participants, focused on how to better understand and report on ecological transition in mountain areas, from biodiversity and climate change to sustainable development ⛰️👉This matters because the way mountain areas are reported shapes the way they are understood and, ultimately, the way they are governed!We were pleased to join our member UNIMONT in this exchange. Prof. Anna Giorgi highlighted the need to change the way mountain areas are perceived, beyond fragility and marginality. Stefano Sala then showed how issues such as depopulation, winter tourism, climate change and public policy require a more nuanced reading of mountain realities 🔍 For Euromontana, Guillaume Corradino brought a European perspective to the discussion.
