Budget de l’UE après 2020 : coupes importantes dans les budgets de la PAC et de la politique de cohésion, mais forte augmentation pour la recherche et la jeunesse

Tous les sept ans, l’Union européenne décide de son futur budget à long terme – le cadre financier pluriannuel (CFP). Le prochain budget de ce type, qui débutera le 1er janvier 2021, sera le premier pour l’Union européenne à 27, après le Brexit. Le 2 mai 2018, la Commission européenne a présenté sa proposition de budget européen pour le prochain CFP pour la période 2021-2027 (voir l’ensemble de la communication ici).

Le budget futur s’élève à 1,105 milliards d’euros en paiements – exprimés en prix de 2018 (1,135 milliards d’euros en engagements), ce qui représente 1,11% du revenu national brut de l’UE27. Pour rappel, le budget de l’UE adopté pour la période 2014-2020 s’élevait à 1,082 milliard d’euros (en engagements).

Le présent article vise à résumer les principaux changements suggérés par la Commission et la procédure d’adoption de ce CFP.

Today, Euromontana had the pleasure to take part in the journalist training course “Transizione ecologica nelle aree montane: biodiversità, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo sostenibile”, organised by Università della Montagna with the Ordine dei Giornalisti della Lombardia (the Lombardy Association of Journalists 📰)The course, bringing together 65+ participants, focused on how to better understand and report on ecological transition in mountain areas, from biodiversity and climate change to sustainable development ⛰️👉This matters because the way mountain areas are reported shapes the way they are understood and, ultimately, the way they are governed!We were pleased to join our member UNIMONT in this exchange. Prof. Anna Giorgi highlighted the need to change the way mountain areas are perceived, beyond fragility and marginality. Stefano Sala then showed how issues such as depopulation, winter tourism, climate change and public policy require a more nuanced reading of mountain realities 🔍 For Euromontana, Guillaume Corradino brought a European perspective to the discussion.
