Horizon Europe, une évolution plus qu’une révolution pour le prochain programme de recherche et innovation

Les propositions législatives pour Horizon Europe, le programme de recherche et d’innovation qui suivra Horizon 2020, ont été publiées. Avec un budget qui passe de 70 milliards d’euros à 100 milliards d’euros, ce programme maintient une grande stabilité par rapport à l’actuel programme Horizon 2020 et met l’accent sur l’impact et la poursuite de l’exploitation des résultats.

La Commission a publié en juin ses propositions pour le nouveau programme Horizon Europe pour 2021-2027. Elle fait suite à la communication « Un agenda européen renouvelé pour la recherche et l’innovation – une chance pour l’Europe de façonner son avenir » publiée le mois précédent. Cet article vise à souligner les principaux changements entre l’actuel programme Horizon 2020 et ces nouvelles propositions législatives qui ne seront officiellement adoptées qu’après une procédure de codécision entre le Conseil et le Parlement européen.

Today, Euromontana had the pleasure to take part in the journalist training course “Transizione ecologica nelle aree montane: biodiversità, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo sostenibile”, organised by Università della Montagna with the Ordine dei Giornalisti della Lombardia (the Lombardy Association of Journalists 📰)The course, bringing together 65+ participants, focused on how to better understand and report on ecological transition in mountain areas, from biodiversity and climate change to sustainable development ⛰️👉This matters because the way mountain areas are reported shapes the way they are understood and, ultimately, the way they are governed!We were pleased to join our member UNIMONT in this exchange. Prof. Anna Giorgi highlighted the need to change the way mountain areas are perceived, beyond fragility and marginality. Stefano Sala then showed how issues such as depopulation, winter tourism, climate change and public policy require a more nuanced reading of mountain realities 🔍 For Euromontana, Guillaume Corradino brought a European perspective to the discussion.
