La région Lombardie lance « Montagna Futuro » – une stratégie pour la jeunesse et la technologie dans le cadre du développement des montagnes de Lombardie

Le 14 mars 2017, des politiciens, des techniciens, des chercheurs, des résidents de la montagne, des responsables gouvernementaux, un athlète olympique et de nombreuses autres personnes se sont réunis pour lancer Montagna Futuro. Montagna Futuro est un projet de la région Lombardie en Italie qui vise à définir une stratégie pour développer et promouvoir les montagnes de Lombardie. Le projet se concentrera sur l’élaboration de stratégies pour les jeunes et la technologie dans le cadre du développement des montagnes de Lombardie. Le projet a un financement initial de 9 millions d’euros pour des projets spécialement concentrés sur les montagnes. L’événement comprenait des interventions de Roberto Maroni, président de la région Lombardie, Ugo Parolo, sous-secrétaire de la politique de montagne, Annibale Salsa, anthropologue, notre Elisabetta Parravicini, présidente d’ERSAF et vice-présidente d’Euromontana, et Enrico Calvo, directeur des services pour le territoire, les montagnes et les chaînes d’approvisionnement au sein d’ERSAF. Les orateurs ont parlé de l’importance de garder les jeunes dans les zones de montagne, de les impliquer et de les intéresser à l’administration de la montagne, ainsi que de fournir une qualité de vie élevée dans les montagnes, par exemple en gardant les écoles ouvertes dans des régions éloignées ou en encourageant la culture locale, comme les groupes de musique, et la communauté, par exemple par le biais de stations de pompiers locales. Le projet élaborera un plan d’action pour les montagnes de Lombardie et financera des projets de montagne afin de promouvoir le développement des montagnes de Lombardie.

And that's a wrap for the first Euromontana Board of Directors meeting of the year 🇮🇹 Last week, the Board members examined the development of the network and reported on ongoing activities and plans for the coming months, as well as the network's advocacy priorities! 🏔️ The day also included a tour of the Università della Montagna premises, (who are kindly hosting the meetings) and meeting with Luca Masneri, the Mayor of the Commune of Edolo. 🇮🇹 Live from Edolo were Euromontana's Board of Directors is gathering for its first meeting of the year!Yesterday, the group reached the 3,000 m to witness the impact of climate change on tourism and on the Presena glacier, explained by Consortia Pontedilegno-Tonale, and then learned about the alteration of the alpine ecosystem from Stelvio National Park and Adamello Regional Park🏔👉Fauna, flora and local communities are affected by the shorter period of snow cover, which disturbs the habitats and physiological clocks of species, as well as the availability of water, predation cycles and the cultural landscape. Today, Euromontana had the pleasure to take part in the journalist training course “Transizione ecologica nelle aree montane: biodiversità, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo sostenibile”, organised by Università della Montagna with the Ordine dei Giornalisti della Lombardia (the Lombardy Association of Journalists 📰)The course, bringing together 65+ participants, focused on how to better understand and report on ecological transition in mountain areas, from biodiversity and climate change to sustainable development ⛰️👉This matters because the way mountain areas are reported shapes the way they are understood and, ultimately, the way they are governed!We were pleased to join our member UNIMONT in this exchange. Prof. Anna Giorgi highlighted the need to change the way mountain areas are perceived, beyond fragility and marginality. Stefano Sala then showed how issues such as depopulation, winter tourism, climate change and public policy require a more nuanced reading of mountain realities 🔍 For Euromontana, Guillaume Corradino brought a European perspective to the discussion.
