Un service de livraison au village pour la population rurale vieillissante

L’Espagne est l’un des pays européens où la proportion de personnes âgées de 80 ans et plus est la plus élevée, avec 6 % de la population appartenant à cette tranche d’âge (Eurostat, 2016, données sur l’espérance de vie). En outre, la plupart des personnes âgées en Espagne vivent dans des zones rurales montagneuses, 17 % de la population rurale ayant plus de 65 ans (Eurostat, 2015, « Les citoyens de l’UE : qui sommes-nous et comment vivons-nous ? ») Le manque de services et d’offres de transport dans ces régions constitue une difficulté majeure pour les personnes âgées qui souhaitent accéder aux biens et aux services dans leur quotidien. La PME du secteur de l’économie sociale La Exclusiva vise à inverser cette tendance en offrant une meilleure prestation de services à la population vieillissante des provinces de Soria et de Burgos, membres d’Euromontana.

Today, Euromontana had the pleasure to take part in the journalist training course “Transizione ecologica nelle aree montane: biodiversità, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo sostenibile”, organised by Università della Montagna with the Ordine dei Giornalisti della Lombardia (the Lombardy Association of Journalists 📰)The course, bringing together 65+ participants, focused on how to better understand and report on ecological transition in mountain areas, from biodiversity and climate change to sustainable development ⛰️👉This matters because the way mountain areas are reported shapes the way they are understood and, ultimately, the way they are governed!We were pleased to join our member UNIMONT in this exchange. Prof. Anna Giorgi highlighted the need to change the way mountain areas are perceived, beyond fragility and marginality. Stefano Sala then showed how issues such as depopulation, winter tourism, climate change and public policy require a more nuanced reading of mountain realities 🔍 For Euromontana, Guillaume Corradino brought a European perspective to the discussion.
