Une nouvelle plateforme pour aider à stimuler la croissance dans les régions transfrontalières de l’Union européenne

La Commission européenne vient de lancer une nouvelle plate-forme pour partager les bonnes pratiques en vue de stimuler la croissance dans les régions frontalières de l’UE et créer un réseau professionnel d’acteurs des frontières de l’UE. Cette plate-forme professionnelle européenne fait partie des 10 mesures proposées par la communication de la Commission européenne sur la manière de surmonter les obstacles et les obstacles pour améliorer la coopération transfrontalière, publiée en septembre 2017 (lire l’article d’Euromontana ici).

Le réseau professionnel est ouvert aux acteurs frontaliers qui souhaitent discuter et présenter les problèmes et les solutions aux frontières en matière d’administration, de santé, de multilinguisme, de transport, d’emploi, de questions institutionnelles et de services d’information. L’objectif principal du réseau sera de créer une communauté frontalière plus forte au niveau européen.

Le point de contact frontalier (« Border Focal Point »), composé d’experts de la Commission en matière de questions transfrontalières, utilisera également cette plateforme pour dialoguer pleinement avec les parties prenantes aux frontières.

Today, Euromontana had the pleasure to take part in the journalist training course “Transizione ecologica nelle aree montane: biodiversità, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo sostenibile”, organised by Università della Montagna with the Ordine dei Giornalisti della Lombardia (the Lombardy Association of Journalists 📰)The course, bringing together 65+ participants, focused on how to better understand and report on ecological transition in mountain areas, from biodiversity and climate change to sustainable development ⛰️👉This matters because the way mountain areas are reported shapes the way they are understood and, ultimately, the way they are governed!We were pleased to join our member UNIMONT in this exchange. Prof. Anna Giorgi highlighted the need to change the way mountain areas are perceived, beyond fragility and marginality. Stefano Sala then showed how issues such as depopulation, winter tourism, climate change and public policy require a more nuanced reading of mountain realities 🔍 For Euromontana, Guillaume Corradino brought a European perspective to the discussion.
