Vers l’Acte II de la loi montagne en France

L’ANEM (Association Nationale des Elus de Montagne) se félicite de la mise en chantier de l’Acte II de la loi montagne décidée par le Premier ministre français.

Laurent WAUQUIEZ, député de la Haute-Loire, et Marie-Noëlle BATTISTEL, députée de l’Isère, respectivement Président et Secrétaire générale de l’ANEM, se félicitent de la mission confiée à deux parlementaires de la montagne par le Premier ministre.

En France, la politique de la montagne se fonde sur la reconnaissance de la spécificité des territoires de montagne par la loi du 9 janvier 1985. Elle est ainsi, directement ou indirectement, à l’origine d’un grand nombre de mesures s’appliquant dans des domaines aussi divers que l’urbanisme, le tourisme, l’agriculture, la prévention des risques, l’organisation des services publics ou la fiscalité incitative, notamment.

Trente ans après l’adoption de la loi montagne deux parlementaires doivent donc rendre leur rapport pour mi-mai 2015 pour obtenir des propositions concrètes et opérationnelles permettant d’élaborer un véritable Acte II de la loi montagne.

Today, Euromontana had the pleasure to take part in the journalist training course “Transizione ecologica nelle aree montane: biodiversità, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo sostenibile”, organised by Università della Montagna with the Ordine dei Giornalisti della Lombardia (the Lombardy Association of Journalists 📰)The course, bringing together 65+ participants, focused on how to better understand and report on ecological transition in mountain areas, from biodiversity and climate change to sustainable development ⛰️👉This matters because the way mountain areas are reported shapes the way they are understood and, ultimately, the way they are governed!We were pleased to join our member UNIMONT in this exchange. Prof. Anna Giorgi highlighted the need to change the way mountain areas are perceived, beyond fragility and marginality. Stefano Sala then showed how issues such as depopulation, winter tourism, climate change and public policy require a more nuanced reading of mountain realities 🔍 For Euromontana, Guillaume Corradino brought a European perspective to the discussion.
