Vers un nouveau programme LIFE: priorités post-2020

Le dernier appel à propositions LIFE pour la période 2014-2020 vient d’être publié, parallèlement à une consultation sur l’avenir du programme LIFE. D’ici la fin de ce mois, la Journée d’Information et de Networking LIFE aura lieu et la proposition actualisée du Cadre Financier Pluriannuel pour 2021-2027 devrait être présentée.

Cet article vise à se replacer au cœur de ces événements, à donner un aperçu des points clés du programme LIFE 2014-2020 et à les comparer avec les changements proposés par la Commission européenne pour la période 2021-2027. Vous retrouverez également les prochaines étapes et le calendrier indicatif pour l’adoption et la mise en oeuvre du programme LIFE post-2020, tout en sachant que des changements peuvent avoir lieu en raison de la crise du COVID-19 et de son impact sur le budget européen.

Today, Euromontana had the pleasure to take part in the journalist training course “Transizione ecologica nelle aree montane: biodiversità, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo sostenibile”, organised by Università della Montagna with the Ordine dei Giornalisti della Lombardia (the Lombardy Association of Journalists 📰)The course, bringing together 65+ participants, focused on how to better understand and report on ecological transition in mountain areas, from biodiversity and climate change to sustainable development ⛰️👉This matters because the way mountain areas are reported shapes the way they are understood and, ultimately, the way they are governed!We were pleased to join our member UNIMONT in this exchange. Prof. Anna Giorgi highlighted the need to change the way mountain areas are perceived, beyond fragility and marginality. Stefano Sala then showed how issues such as depopulation, winter tourism, climate change and public policy require a more nuanced reading of mountain realities 🔍 For Euromontana, Guillaume Corradino brought a European perspective to the discussion.
