Les appels Green Deal sont publiés !

Les appels à projets du Green Deal, dernier volet de financement dans le cadre d’Horizon 2020, ont enfin été lancés par la Commission européenne. Les objectifs politiques et une présentation détaillée de chaque appel thématique ont fait l’objet de discussions lors des Journées de la Recherche et de l’Innovation du 22 au 24 septembre 2020.

Les appels du Green Deal visent à imaginer l’avenir européen, à renforcer également la reprise post-COVID19 et à préparer la voie à Horizon Europe. Pour cette raison, la participation est d’un intérêt stratégique pour les zones de montagne. La coopération internationale doit mettre en évidence la contribution que les zones de montagne peuvent apporter à la transition numérique et verte en Europe, ainsi que la nécessité
de ne pas les laisser de côté.

Notre dernier article (réservé aux membres) vise à présenter la portée, la structure et la logique derrière les appels Green Deal, des conseils pour une bonne préparation des propositions et pour trouver vos partenaires.

Today, Euromontana had the pleasure to take part in the journalist training course “Transizione ecologica nelle aree montane: biodiversità, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo sostenibile”, organised by Università della Montagna with the Ordine dei Giornalisti della Lombardia (the Lombardy Association of Journalists 📰)The course, bringing together 65+ participants, focused on how to better understand and report on ecological transition in mountain areas, from biodiversity and climate change to sustainable development ⛰️👉This matters because the way mountain areas are reported shapes the way they are understood and, ultimately, the way they are governed!We were pleased to join our member UNIMONT in this exchange. Prof. Anna Giorgi highlighted the need to change the way mountain areas are perceived, beyond fragility and marginality. Stefano Sala then showed how issues such as depopulation, winter tourism, climate change and public policy require a more nuanced reading of mountain realities 🔍 For Euromontana, Guillaume Corradino brought a European perspective to the discussion.
