Smart Villages (Smart digital transformation of villages in the Alpine Space) is an Interreg Alpine Space project looking at how the Smart Village approach can unlock the potential of local actors in mountain areas to make their region a more attractive place to live and work.

On November 10, 2020, project partners will present some of the results and recommendations gathered since the start of the project in 2018. Due to due to the sanitary context, the event will be held online.

Programme

The event will provide an overview of the Smart Villages project and explain the relevance of the Smart Village concept in the alpine context. The plenary session will be an opportunity to discuss the policy recommendations with high-level speakers and experts, such as MEP Bogovic (co-chair of the European Parliament’s intergroup RUMRA & Smart Villages, supported by Euromontana), experts from DG AGRI and Eric Jakob from the Swiss federal state secretariat for Economy.

See the event’s programme.
