Green Mountain Final Conference – Launch of the Focus group on SEE mountains
The final conference of the INTERREG IVB Green Mountain project, entitled “Cross-border solutions for sustainable growth in mountain and sensitive regions”, will be organised on February 20th by the Green Mountain Project Team at the Committee of the Regions in Brussels. The conference will bring together international organisations, European networks, government officials, regional institutions, environmental organisations and national and nature parks.
On this very special occasion, Euromontana and Green Mountain partners will sign a Memorandum of Understanding for the creation of a “Focus Group on Sustainable Mountain Development in South Eastern Europe”. Assembling Green Mountain partners who will join the Euromontana network and Euromontana members from the South-Eastern European space, this focus group will seek to develop cooperation actions to improve quality of life of mountain people in South-Eastern Europe Mountains.
