« Une nouvelle approche pour le développement rural des montagnes européennes »

Les 4èmes Assises de la Montagne ont eu lieu à moment stratégique.

Le développement rural doit faire face à un nouvel avenir. La conférence de Salzburg en Novembre 2003 a ouvert de nouvelles perspectives pour les politiques rurales européennes après 2006, et un nouveau règlement pour le développement rural est proposé pour après 2006. Les Assises de la Montagne de Rodez étaient l’occasion unique d’identifier des perspectives pour les régions de montagne européennes.

Le troisième Rapport de Cohésion, qui propose les orientations principales pour les futures politiques régionales après 2006, et l’ébauche de régulation pour les fonds structurels 2007-2013, publié le 15/07/04, posent les bases du futur développement régional en Europe. Aujourd’hui encore, le débat continue. Le changement dans les politiques d’aide étatique post 2006 est également un élément clé pour le futur développement des montagnes en Europe.

L’Union Européenne accueille dorénavant 25 pays et inclut plus de sociétés de montagne, ceci donne une nouvelle dimension aux régions de montagne européennes.

Pendant la Convention de Rodez, la Commission Européenne, nouvellement constituée, a commencé son exercice, tout comme le Parlement Européen, fraîchement élu en Juin 2004.

Les débats sur l’orientation de l’Union pour la période 2006-2013 étaient à leur stade crucial et c’était le meilleur moment pour les régions de Montagne d’Europe de contribuer à ce débat.

And that's a wrap for the first Euromontana Board of Directors meeting of the year 🇮🇹 Last week, the Board members examined the development of the network and reported on ongoing activities and plans for the coming months, as well as the network's advocacy priorities! 🏔️ The day also included a tour of the Università della Montagna premises, (who are kindly hosting the meetings) and meeting with Luca Masneri, the Mayor of the Commune of Edolo. We had the pleasure to hear presentations from B.I.M. del Sarca President, who act to safeguard the rights of mountain communities by providing compensation for the hydroelectric development of the River Sarca and its tributaries, as well as from CALRE (the Conference of European Regional Legislative Assemblies), presenting their annual priorities 💡 A lot of food for thought here, so stay tuned!👀 Curious about our governing bodies and ways of functioning? 🇮🇹 Live from Edolo were Euromontana's Board of Directors is gathering for its first meeting of the year!Yesterday, the group reached the 3,000 m to witness the impact of climate change on tourism and on the Presena glacier, explained by Consortia Pontedilegno-Tonale, and then learned about the alteration of the alpine ecosystem from Stelvio National Park and Adamello Regional Park🏔👉Fauna, flora and local communities are affected by the shorter period of snow cover, which disturbs the habitats and physiological clocks of species, as well as the availability of water, predation cycles and the cultural landscape.
