Corto e Fieno was born in 2010 from an idea of the cultural association Asilo Bianco. It is the only film festival in Italy to devote all its work to rural films dealing with the relationship between Human and the land. Its aim is to study through cinema the persistence of rurality in contemporary society.
The selected films come from all over the world and talk about rurality through the different languages and genres of cinema. Feature films, documentaries, animations, experimental works are presented each year. The Festival is a free event, open to all and organized in cinemas as well as in agricultural areas.

10th edition

The tenth edition of Corto e Fieno – Rural Film Festival will take place on Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2019 on Lake Orta.

More information is coming on the 2019 program and will be available here and on the festival’s Facebook page.
