8th World Congress on Snow and Mountain Tourism: supporting summer tourism


The 8th World Congress on Snow and Mountain Tourism: “MOUNTAINLIKERS: New Trends in Mountain Tourism for the Summer Season” will take place in Andorra la Vella (Andorra) on 9 and 10 April 2014.

The event is organised by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) with the support of the parish of Andorra la Vella and it has been taking place every two years since 1998 helping to build important knowledge in the field of mountain tourism.

The aim of the Congress is to provide stakeholders with the opportunity to share their experiences to develop new strategies and actions to promote mountains as destinations for summer tourism.
