Digital Alps conference is an annual event taking place each year in a different alpine country. It is a focal point to gather all initiatives and projects dealing with the aspects of connectivity and digitalization in the Alpine area and it is also a unique occasion to present all activities and initiatives of EUSALP’s Action Group 5 regarding digitalization

The Digital Alps Conference 2021 is co-organised by different organisations and institutions including EUSALP and our member SAB. The conference will mark the start of a series of annual conferences and will be held online. It will celebrate the closing of the SMART SME project and will design the way ahead for the topics on digital infrastructures, accessibility to services as well as on Open Data in the Alpine region.

The 2021 edition will build on the work carried out in the alpine region on Smart Villages and will spread the knowledge to the widest possible range of mountain and rural villages and regions. Because synergies are the key to evolution, a new network, the alpine Smart Villages Community, will be launched at the Digital Alps conference.

Programme and registration

The Digital Alps conference will take place on 27th (all day) and 28th (morning only) of May, online. You can consult the programme and register on the event’s webpage.
