EIP Workshop on Opportunities for Rural Innovation under Horizon 2020

The European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability (EIP-AGRI) of the European Commission has organised a workshop “Connecting Research and Practice – Opportunities for Innovation in Agriculture and Rural Areas under Horizon 2020” the 14^th of January in Brussels. This workshop aims to inform and discuss about multi-actor projects and thematic networks under the Societal Challenge 2 Calls on Sustainable Food Security and Innovative, Sustainable and Inclusive Bio-economy of the the new 2014-2015 Horizon 2020 work programme.

Because of the high demand from the public, the event is complete. However, it will be possible to follow the workshop via web streaming and to launch questions to the speakers through twitter.

🧊 Glaciers matter for water, food and livelihoods in mountains and beyond. This is what we are highlighting this year on 11 December, International Mountain Day.Every year, this day provides an opportunity to emphasise the crucial importance of these areas in terms of natural resources, biodiversity, identity, cultural heritage, ways of life, and more resilient models.
