This event will aim at collectively defining the issues and priorities to guide the ecological, social and democratic transition in the mountains, starting with the tourism sector. It will be an opportunity to exchange, compose, get inspired on your territory and in connection with all the others.

With the presence of elected representatives, associations, scientists, citizens, industrialists, craftsmen, farmers, the cultural sector and socio-professionals, EUSALP is bringing all alpine energies to the table to move forward collectively towards mountain territories that make sense.

On the occasion of the French Presidency of EUSALP In 2021, the French presidency of EUSALP offers the opportunity to work on a new positioning of tourism in the Alps, integrating the issues of climate change, mobility, and the enhancement of all heritages. In this context, the event represents an opportunity to speak out for a different tourism model, one that is rooted in the territories and promotes a true “mountain lifestyle”.

This 2-day event is organised by EUSALP, the Association 2TM Transitions des Territoires de Montagne and Mountain Wilderness.

Programme and registration

The event will take place in Grenoble, France, and will include workshops and plenary sessions as well as study visits. A draft programme is available on the event website.
