Forum Carpaticum 2014


The Forum Carpaticum 2014 will take place between the 16th and 18th of September 2014 in Lviv, Ukraine.

The Forum aims to explore ways to address global challenges in the local and regional context. Its main themes will be related, but not limited, to the policy priorities of the Europe 2020 Strategy and the Horizon 2020 Programme, focusing on the major challenges affecting the Carpathian region:

– Ecosystem services and land use change
– Climate change, water and extreme events/hazards
– Natural and cultural heritage
– Smart mountains

The conference will consist on plenary and parallel sessions as well as workshops and poster presentations. You are invited to submit extended abstracts for oral presentations and poster abstracts. You can already consult the dates and deadlines for the submission of abstracts here.
