Can smartworking guarantee more job opportunities in rural and mountain areas? Is there a new green sensibility pushing young people to choose mountain life? What measures can be taken to combat depopulation endemic in some parts of Europe in rural areas? Euromontana has recently promoted a survey that takes stock of the relationship, throughout Europe, between young people and the mountains, outlining possible future developments, which cannot disregard cohesion funds.

Speakers:

  • Carla Lostrangio, Euromontana
  • Francesco Martino, OBC Transeuropa journalist
  • Filippo Barbera, Associazione Riabitare l’Italia and full professor of Sociology of economic and labour processes at the Department of Culture, Politics and Society, University of Turin

Moderator: Davide Sighele, OBC Transeuropa journalist

The webinar is organised by OBC Transeuropa in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore as part of the Work for Future project. The webinar will be hosted by Il Sole 24 Ore and broadcast live on its portal and Facebook and Linkedin pages. The webinar will be in Italian.
