What can we learn from the experiences of Alpine countries in governing and implementing their climate adaptation policies so far? What are success factors, good practice examples, and future challenges? Which innovations and enhancement options are needed for well-governed climate adaptation – between levels, sectors, and countries The Final Conference of the GoApply project will tackle these questions.

The conference is organised by the Austrian project partner Federal Ministry of Sustainability and Tourism (BMNT), supported by the Environment Agency Austria (Umweltbundesamt). The event will be held in English language. Participation is free of cost, but prior registration is required. Registrations will be processed in the order of their reception. The registration will remain open until 15th April 2019.

The final conference addresses adaptation policy makers and coordinators, sector decision makers, practitioners and researchers from the Alpine Space. This includes public authorities from national, regional and local levels, civil society stakeholders (NGOs, interest groups), universities and research institutions as well as EUSALP and Alpine Convention actors. Participants will be enabled to take up, apply and valorise the GoApply project outputs in their adaptation practice.
