How could your rural community become smart? Digitalisation is present in all areas of life. Sustainable smart solution models for living and working in rural areas differ in several aspects from solution models that are applied within the framework of smart city concepts.

The Interreg Alpine Space SMARTVillages project is organising its final conference online on April 29, 2021. The event will showcase inspiring examples of digital transformation in Alpine municipalities and present policy recommendations for local and regional authorities.

In the afternoon a special focus will be on pilot activities of smart and successful rural communities in Germany within the framework of the SMARTVillages subproject SmartLand.

Programme and registration

The programmes of both the SMARTVillages final conference (in the morning) and the SmartLand event (in the afternoon) as well as the registration forms are available on the project’s website.
