Call for participants: “Storytelling 4 EU” in the Lombardy Region

A call for young participants to participate to the “Storytelling 4 EU” Youth Laboratory was launched by ERSAF, partner of the Montana174 project. Applications can be sent until 29th April.

What is it?

On 15th April, the Regional Agency for Agricultural and Forestry Services (ERSAF) of the Lombardy Region launched a call for young participants to join the “Storytelling 4 EU Youth Laboratory”. Tutors from the world of advertising and communication will train and guide the selected participants to developing their own creative artistic work (video, photography, music, drawing, comics…) including the technical aspects and the ‘tricks of the trade’.

In particular, the work must tell the story of a significant project or activity financed by the Cohesion Policy in the mountain territories of the Lombardy region, in which mountain citizens have been able to have been able to achieve social and work objectives or – more generally – improve their quality of life. The outputs of the Laboratory will be widely distributed as part of the Montana174 project.

Why?

Every year, Europe uses the funds of the Cohesion Policy to finance projects that improve the lives of those who live in mountainous areas across all Europe. However, residents are not always aware of these funds and the impacts they have in their territory.

Who can participate?

Young people aged between 14 and 23 coming from or closely linked to the mountain area of Lombardy and who want to try their hand at the art of storytelling and a lot of imagination.

Apply now!

To take part, you must read the terms of the competition carefully and send in a project: the three best ideas will be awarded – and thus realised.
