Epirus Region, Greece

Epirus Region is a geographical and administrative region (second level of local administration) in northwestern Greece. Its major role is to ensure the implementation of the National Development Strategy at regional level giving priority to prospects, strengths and opportunities of Epirus as a special identity.

Region of Epirus in cooperation with the other MOG partners will jointly implement the innovative actions that the project proposes. Apart from the exchange of good practices in the field of sustainable transport in rural areas, the Region will take over to adjust its transport policy for the implementation of the identified sustainable strategies and tools into the rural communities of the Region.
