The EC has launched a public consultation on CAP “Greening” measures

At the time of the CAP reform, it was agreed that the European Commission should review the rules about the Ecological Focus Area after the first year of application. In this context and in line with the simplification of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the European Commission (EC) has launched on the 15th December 2015, a public consultation on the “Greening” measures of the CAP.

The “Greening” measures include 3 different practices linked to environment:  Ecological Focus Area, crop diversification and maintaining permanent pasture. The consultation will be open until 8 March 2016. For more details on the consultation click here.

Please, in case you want to contribute to this consultation, contact the secretariat of Euromontana.
