Euromontana will organise its XII European Mountain Convention on “Smart mountains: how to make our territories attractive and future-oriented?” in the Natural Park & Biosphere Reserve of Sila, Italy in September 2021. This 3-Day event will aim at defining a sustainable strategy for the development of smart mountains towards 2050. In view of this event, Euromontana is launching a series of webinars to feed the reflection and showcase good initiatives, but also foresight analysis for our collective future.

Co-organised by Euromontana, ERSAF, Cia – Agricoltori Italiani, EURAC and Città Metropolitana di Torino, this first webinar will focus on resilience. Mr Dorfmann, Member of the European Parliament, as well as researchers, local authorities and stakeholders will address the following questions:

  • how did mountains cope with the COVID crisis?
  • What were the smart solutions implemented in territories?
  • How to sustain innovations for smarter mountains?

The webinar will take place from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm via the Zoom platform. Interpretation will be available in English and Italian. Please check the agenda and register before September 29.
