Erasmus 2021-2027: The budget for education and training to double for much higher ambitions

On 30 May 2018, the European Commission published its legislative proposal on the future Erasmus+ programme for the period 2021-2027, the European Union’s programme for education and training, as well as for youth and sport.  The Commission is proposing a significant increase in the budget: 30 billion, doubling the amount of the current programming period. At the same time, the Commission proposes to extend the target audience to mobility and funding opportunities for small-scale project cooperation.
