On January 29, 2020, the new European Commission published its annual work programme, forecasting several communications and new strategies in the coming months of crucial importance for our mountain areas.
The new strategies announced will have important consequences on mountain areas, where the environment needs to be preserved, territorial cohesion enhanced, transports and services maintained and further developed in order to ensure that local communities benefit from the same opportunities than other populations. Mountain communities and stakeholders must therefore get mobilised in 2020!
