The 2014 edition of Green Week, the annual conference organised by DG ENVIRONMENT on European environment policy, took place from 3 to 5 June in Brussels. The theme of the edition of this year has been “Circular Economy, Resource Efficiency & Waste”.
According to the European Commission, circular economy is the logical solution for a resource-constrained world. It’s a place where almost nothing is wasted, where the re-use and remanufacturing of products has become standard practice, and where sustainability is built into the fabric of society. Different topics and sectors related to the circular economy had a place in the several workshops of the Green Week 2014.
The presentations and more information of the event can be found on the Green Week webpage.
