On July 2020, the European Commission approved the Next Generation EU, an ambitious programme that will stream additional € 750 billion in order to trigger EU’s recovery from the COVID-9 pandemic, while paving the way for green and digital transition.
Most Next Generation EU funds will be channelled via the National Recovery and Resilience Plans, followed by the REACT-EU instrument.
This article clarifies how these funds will be distributed across EU Member States, and the points of attention to avoid that rural and mountainous areas are neglected (article for members only).
