Tous « agriculteurs pour un jour » pour redécouvrir un contact direct avec le territoire et la terre comme source de nourriture mais aussi comme un espace de vie à préserver. Ce fut le refrain (leit motiv) de la 30ème édition de l’Exposition agricole annuelle 2014 pour le Centre d’Italie (RACI) qui a eu lieu à Macerata les 9-10 et 11 mai 2014.
Comme l’a souligné le ministre italien de l’Agriculture, M. Maurizio Martina , dans le cérémonie d’ouverture, le RACI a été une avant-première réelle aux thèmes “d’Expo 2015” de Milan. Un concept repris également par le président de la province de Macerata, M.
All ” Farmers for a Day” to rediscover a direct contact with the territory and the land as a source of food, but also as a living space to be preserved. This has been the leitmotiv of the 30th Annual Agricultural Exhibition 2014 for Center Italy (RACI) that has taken place in Macerata on 9-10 and 11 May 2014.
As underlined by the Italian Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Maurizio Martina, in the opening ceremony, the RACI has been a real and first preview to the topics of the Milan “Expo 2015”. A concept taken up also by the President of the Province of Macerata, Mr. Antonio Pettinari, stressing the new partnership RACI-Europe thanks to the presence in the event of the Euromontana’s President, Mr. Juan Andrès Gutiérrez who has made a presentation on the strategic role of mountain areas and products in the new CAP 2014-2020, highlighting the opportunities of the new agricultural policy and the role played by Euromontana at European level.
The Province of Macerata has recently joined Euromontana as member.
More than 50.000 visitors, 11 thematic exhibitions areas, 42 events, dozens workshops, tastings events entertainments have showed the universe of the rural world and the identity of a rich and generous territory to a large public.
Furthermore, the participation of youth and children in the RACI increased in this 30th edition due to the presence of different educational activities addressed to schools and families.
