ESPON: Making the European Territory Open and Polycentric

ESPON has organized a conference on 29th April 2014 to invite stakeholders and policy-makers to discuss its draft report “Making Europe Open and Polycentric” elaborated by the ET2050 project. This project aims to elaborate a Territorial Vision for Europe in 2050 and define possible political pathways that can lead Europe towards this vision. The vision, together with the pathways, is meant to guide the policy debate on long-term territorial development and to provide a coherent European framework for policy initiatives at different decision-making levels. Euromontana has been invited to this conference to debate about the territorial vision suggested by this ET2050 project: this was a great opportunity to imagine and debate the desirable future in Europe.
