Share your good practices on Cohesion Policy in mountains areas!

Euromontana is launching a call for good practices on Cohesion Policy in the framework of its new project Montana174. We invite you to share with us inspiring examples from your regions to show how the Cohesion Policy shapes mountains.

What is Montana174?

Montana174 is a 1-year communication campaign funded by the European Commission – DG REGIO and coordinated by Euromontana. This campaign aims to raise awareness and increase knowledge on how the Cohesion Policy impact the daily life of mountain citizens.

Thematic brochures of good practices

Montana174 will create 5 thematic brochures of good practices. These brochures aim to showcase how the Cohesion Policy have an impact on mountain citizens’ life, in relation to 5 focus areas:

  • Social and digital Innovation
  • Climate change mitigation and adaptation
  • Tourism
  • Youth and Employment
  • Mobility

What do we look for?

Euromontana is seeking to collect concrete examples of projects and initiatives (e.g. Interreg projects, projects financed by ERDF /ESF funds etc.) funded by the Cohesion Policy in mountain areas in Europe, that relate to one of these 5 thematic focus.

The good practice:

  • MUST be supported by the Cohesion Policy
  • Shall be related to any of the 5 thematic focuses listed above
  • Shall be incurred in the 2014-2020 period
  • Shall be located in mountain areas and have an impact on mountain communities/persons
  • Should have an innovative character (e.g. something new, revealing a new social/technological practice or methodology)

You are aware of an initiative from your region funded by the Cohesion Policy? Does it meet our criteria? So don’t hesitate to take 5 minutes to share it with us by filling in this form!

For more information about Montana174, you can contact Carla Lostrangio, Project Manager at Euromontana.
