With a budget of 14.7 billion, Erasmus+ is the new EU programme that brings together 7 existing EU programmes in the fields of education, training and youth, which are: the Lifelong Learning Programme (Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius, Grundtvig), the Youth in Action Programme, the Erasmus Mundus Programme, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink and Programmes of cooperation with industrialised countries in the field of higher education. In addition, it provides support for Sport for the first time. The aim of this programme is to boost skills and employability and to modernise education, training and youth work through a new project scheme. It brings many interesting projects for mountain areas in the field of education and training or youth.
