On 5th February 2014, Euromontana participated to a first stakeholders’ consultation on the new programme INTERREG EUROPE. Over 60 representatives of regions, other European networks and the European Commission met the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) to discuss about the first draft of the Operational Programme (OP) of Interreg Europe.
This meeting was the first occasion to raise questions and comments on the draft OP. In particular several questions were asked regarding the different types of projects that will be funded; the distinction with other EU programmes like Urbact and Interact; the involvement of local stakeholders; the eligible partners…
Participants also worked in groups trying to define how the programme (Interreg Europe) and the projects will be able to concretely improve the implementation of structural funds within the regions, which is the first goal of this new programme.
For Euromontana, it was also the occasion to test and discuss its first ideas of projects with several members of the JTS to have their feedback and advices.
Please find here the presentations and videos taken during the day.
If you wish to share further comments on this draft OP, an open public consultation is open up to 21st March 2014, so don’t hesitate to contact Euromontana’s secretariat
