Call for speakers: represent mountain forestry at the 4th Forest Innovation Workshop

 

The Rosewood network is organising the 4th Forest Innovation Workshop “Inform-Prioritize-Collaborate: Cooperation of Regions on Innovation in Forest Management, Use of Wood and Forest-related Services”.

Started in 2014 as a joint initiative of relevant European organizations interested in keeping vital and innovative the forest-based sector, the 4th edition of the European Workshop devoted to Forest innovation will take place on January 15 and 16 2020 in Florence, Italy.

The Forest Innovation Workshop is a biennial European initiative which promotes networking and exchanges among the community of forestry and wood industry innovators and actors. It focuses on the following four thematic areas:

  • Managing Impacts related to Climate Change;
  • Supporting Wood and Biomass Mobilization;
  • Supporting the Provision of Ecosystem Services;
  • Improving Sustainable Forest Management Approaches and Tools.

The 2020 workshop edition will be hosted by the Rosewood Network, a Horizon 2020 funded Coordination and Support Action which main target is the enhancement of sustainable wood mobilisation through inter-regional knowledge transfer.

 

How to become a speaker?

You are interested in being a speaker at the 4th Forest Innovation Workshop and share experiences from the forestry sector in mountain areas? A call for interest was launched by the Rosewood network! Targeted potential speakers are in particular persons who can present the experience from relevant EIP AGRI Operational Groups (concluded or still active) which activities focuses on at least one of the four thematic areas.
