“CAP Have your say” conference 7 July: registrations open !

Following the major consultation on the future of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the European Commission organizes a conference in Brussels to present the results of the consultation on 7th July 2017.

During the three-month consultation, stakeholders, including Euromontana, could share their views on the challenges faced by the EU agricultural sector and how to simplify and modernize the CAP.
The European Commission received more than 320.000 responses and 1417 positions papers were submitted. (To read Euromontana’s position click here (in French) ).

“This conference is a chance to take stock of the results of the consultation and to see how they match the scientific evidence from the ground compiled by the Commission”, says the Commission.

We assume that due to the great success of the consultation, registrations will be limited, so we advise all Euromontana’s members interested in this event to register as soon as possible.
