“Connecting rural Europe – Learning from the past, preparing for the future”

The final event of the ENRD Contact Point 2007-2013 “Connecting rural Europe-Learning from the past, preparing for the future” took place the 3rd of June 2014. The event was the occasion to review the work done by the EU rural development community during the 2007-2013 programming period. On this occasion, the ENRD stakeholders discussed the past six years of rural development networking and shared their views in relation to the upcoming challenges during the 2014-2020 programming period. The event was divided in different workshops on:

  • “Improving RDP implementation”
  • “Increasing stakeholder involvement in rural development implementation”
  • “An enlarged role for networking in cooperation and LEADER”
