On 4th February 2014, the Erasmus+ Sport info day took place in Brussels, organised by the European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). The new programme on Sport aims at tackling transnational threats to sport (doping, match fixing, violence, racism, intolerance), supporting good governance in sport and dual careers of athletes, and promoting social inclusion, equal opportunities and health-enhancing physical activity through increased participation in sport and voluntary activities in sport.
