European Innovation Partnership on Water and the road to Horizon 2020

During the Open Days event, a specific workshop was dedicated to the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Water (please click here to see EIP on water’s website)on 9th October 2013.

Robert Schroeder from DG Environment explained how the EIP on water is working. The EIP on water aims to facilitate, support and speed up the development and application of innovations for water challenges and create market possibilities.

Four priorities:

This EIP on water is focusing on 4 priorities:

          Water reuse and recycling

          Water and waste water treatment

          Water energy nexus

          Management of external water events

          Ecosystem services.
