Get ready for the 2019 promotion policy calls!

On February 7th, 2019, the Consumers, Health and Food Executive Agency (CHAFEA) held an Info Day on the Call for Proposals for the 2019 EU Promotion Programme for Agricultural Products. The deadline for applications submission is April 16th, 2019.

The EU promotion policy is a mix of communication and promotion within and outside the European Union. The purpose is to put in the spotlight the EU’s quality foods, whether it be thanks to labels, Registered Designation of Origin (RDO), Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), quality mentions, Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), optional terms, certification systems etc.

Euromontana provides a feedback on the 2019 info day to better understand how the EU funding programmes work to promote our quality foods! Read our article, available in a complete version for members.
