Innovation and agriculture in 2019 and beyond

On Thursday 7 March 2019, the 13th meeting of the EIP-AGRI sub-group on innovation for agricultural productivity and sustainability was held in Brussels. This meeting was an opportunity to take stock of past activities and prepare for the future of this partnership for 2019 and beyond.

The discussions about the merger between EIP-AGRI and the ENRD into a CAP network were also deeper debated during the NetworX event in April 2019, while the European Parliament just adopted the Horizon Europe programme which will open opportunities for innovation in agriculture.

Euromontana is closely monitoring those evolutions to understand what place mountain regions can have in these new networks and programmes. Read our analysis (available for members only).
